Code of Conduct for Communication on New Products

The Code of Self-Regulation for the Communication and Sale of Non-Combustible Products is a document promoted by the Eurispes Institute and developed by a panel of distinguished experts in communication, law, and science. It contains a set of rules and principles that supplement those established by law. The Code was created to provide accurate information on innovative non-combustible products through a system of responsible commercial practices, while simultaneously protecting minors and non-smokers.

Logista Italia has adhered to the Code of Self-Regulation. Federico Rella, Vice President and Director of Corporate Affairs, stated: “The establishment of shared methods for marketing and communicating non-combustible products, in order to clearly present their characteristics and utilization instructions, is essential to ensure informed choices for adult consumers. Logista Italia did not hesitate to join the working group that led to the drafting—and signing—of the Code of Self-Regulation for the Communication and Sale of Non-Combustible Products, confirming itself as a guardian not only of legality but also of neutrality for the entire supply chain. Stopping the spread of inappropriate communicative content and promoting ethically correct behavior are objectives we are confident we can contribute to, as they are inherently part of our business vision”.
