Logista demonstrates commitment to reducing its environmental impact

Logista, one of Europe’s largest logistics operators, announces the renewal of the prestigious ISO 14064-1:2019 Carbon Footprint standard for the fifth consecutive year, which certifies it as a sustainable company in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.
With the new ISO 14064-1:2019 verification, the company has fulfilled all the steps in measuring the carbon footprint derived from its operations. It thus leads rigorous commitment to its environmental impact and is among the most socially responsible logistics operators.
The audit of Logista’s Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions for the FY23 fiscal period has been verified by SGS, a renowned certification and inspection body.
This recognition demonstrates transparency and accuracy in the quantification, monitoring and reporting of the company’s GHG emissions, according to the rigorous requirements and principles set out in the standard. Furthermore, this certification brings reputational benefits for both the company and its stakeholders in terms of credibility, consistency and transparency in their work.
