Logista, a leading distribution company in Southern Europe, has been recognized for the third time as one of Europe's top companies in terms of diversity, thanks to its inclusion in the 2023 Diversity Leaders, an international benchmark index compiled by the Financial Times and Statista. This ranking analyzes diversity and inclusion in the workforce of private and publicly traded companies in Europe and includes 35 Spanish companies. Logista, with more than 7,000 employees from 50 nationalities, scored 7.60, placing it 232nd out of 850 companies. Logista is the fourth Spanish company in this ranking and the third European company in the logistics operators’ category.

To compile this ranking, the Financial Times and the Statista research team interviewed more than 100,000 employees in 16 European countries, asking them to rate their companies and those in their sector on inclusion and promotion of diversity, such as age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, and others.

Marco Pondrelli, Corporate Talent Director, stated: Safety, talent development, diversity, and inclusion are at the heart of Logista's people strategy. The result of these efforts is reflected in the achievement of various recognitions, including that of the Financial Times, one of the international benchmark indexes of which we are proud to be a part once again. We will continue to strive to ensure diversity and equal opportunities in the company because we believe it is essential to attract new talent and strengthen our commitment to employees.

Logista is firmly committed to social responsibility. In this regard, the company uses the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index as a benchmark to improve its diversity and inclusion indices and has already achieved a 42% female presence on its Board of Directors (compared to 28% in the Bloomberg index). Furthermore, 49% of all new hires in 2021 were women (compared to 44% in the index).
