The Tobacco on Credit service is an excellent service provided by the Guarantor Entity to members interested in deferred payment for processed tobacco. Thanks to this benefit, retailers have the possibility to sell first and pay later, thus postponing the payment to the next withdrawal.
This system is a concrete support for better business management, bringing liquidity to the cash register without needing to turn to financial institutions, simply relying on the Guarantor Entity by paying a small contribution.
By simply joining the "Tobacco on Credit" service, members have the option to pay for goods via SDD, and also to take advantage of the specific guarantee for the sale of electronic products.
With the arrival of summer, outlets located in tourist or seaside areas experience a significant increase in the sale of processed tobacco due to higher customer influx. In this case, retailers already using the "Tobacco on Credit" service can benefit from an extraordinary credit line limited to these high-sales periods.
This "Seasonal Credit", higher than the regular one, is calculated based on the average withdrawal of the peak months from the previous year and can be used during the summer period from June 1st to September 30th. This amount is calculated by Logista Italia and then authorized by the Guarantor Entity. Interested members can submit a request directly to their Guarantor Entity. The facilitation of the "Seasonal Credit", as well as any adjustments made during the year, incurs no additional cost.
The "Tobacco on Credit" service is among the provisions that the Guarantor Entity offers in exchange for an annual contribution. This service provides members with a series of correlated benefits, including quick processing times, simplicity in handling paperwork, the absence of reports to the Centrale Rischi (Risk Central), and ensuring that their personal credit line within the banking channel remains unchanged.
